Resin Transfer Molded Composites
Resin Transfer Molded Composite (RTM) manufacturing produces net shape complex composite parts at reduced cost using inexpensive masters and a closed molding system. RTM vacuum resin transfer molding process is a proven method of producing high-quality composite parts made from a wide range of fiber and resin combinations. Large and complex composite structures can be manufactured as a single piece, representing significant cost and labor savings. This includes structures with interior cores, like doors or hatches. Excellent for unmanned system applications, like fuselage, wing structures and winglets. Multiple cavity tooling is utilized where appropriate to meet production rate requirements.
